OHTA201 Basic Principles of Occupational Hygiene
This course provides an introduction to occupational hygiene and is an ideal first step for professionals looking for a foundation level learning of occupational hygiene or to further their knowledge in this area. Participants will learn how to recognise and evaluate occupational hygiene hazards, learn skills to be able to select the appropriate equipment to measure specific hazards, devise a suitable sampling strategy, present results in a useful format and recommend suitable control strategies. This course is a five-day blend of both practical application and theory, gibing participants the confidence to address workplace risks and hazards.

Learning Outcomes
